Spotify uses humourous catchy slogans on their adverts to gain attention, keeping the adverts very minimalistic to encourage passers-by to look up and read the advert. The adverts normally advertise new features or more recently, the wrapped playlist, which has become a viral yearly tradition of the app since 2019, with the playlist showing the most listened to songs and other stats. The adverts tend to be jokey and appeal to their target audience, such as there were multiple ads, which advertised rewind playlists from different years, such as the '80s and '90s.
